My hard work is paying off! 4 more awards in the bag

2020 brought with it many challenges, both on a personal and professional level. I count my blessings that I’m in Singapore and living a relatively normal lifestyle with professional opportunities still afforded. However, for many, opportunities to disseminate research by the usual channels were not there; In person exhibitions cancelled, conferences forced online and events minimised or closed altogether. So, I am genuinely grateful for the opportunities that have presented themselves and for the recognition my work has received through award programs and creative publications.

The past few weeks have been fruitful indeed and I’m humbled to announce that my work has been awarded in 3 prestigious industry awards.

First, the International Design Awards (IDA) https://idesignawards.com/

My branding design for Peace & Presence Well-being was awarded Silver

and my Cut and Paste: preventing Visual Plagiarism Toolkit was awarded Bronze

Second, Cut and Paste: preventing Visual Plagiarism Toolkit has reached the final round of the IF Awards 2021. More detailed information can be found under “Finalists” in the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE

Finally, the Cut and Paste: preventing Visual Plagiarism Toolkit was selected for the 100 Best of 2020 by Creative Quarterly: The journal of Art & Design and ranks in the top 25 Graphic Designs of 2020!

The 100 Best awards for Graphic Design were judged by Jonathan Ford of Pearlfisher, UK

I am honoured to have my work recognised and even though 2020 has been tough my hard work is paying off. Truly grateful.
