As part of ADM’s 20th Anniversary, I’m curating a series of solo exhibitions to showcase outstanding designers who are shaping the future of visual communication. The second exhibition in this series, “Shapes in Bloom: The Posters of Anastasia Temirkhan,” runs from 10th – 21st March 2025 at ADM, NTU Singapore.

Anastasia’s work is a bold exploration of form, pattern, and typography, crafted through a process of observation and transformation. She draws inspiration from everyday surroundings—art, architecture, and urban encounters—translating these influences into compelling visual identities for cultural and commercial projects. Her work demonstrates the power of design to communicate ideas in a visually striking and meaningful way.

A Celebration of Women’s Impact in Design

While International Women’s Day fell just outside the exhibition dates, this show aligns with its spirit—celebrating female designers and their contributions to the field. Women have always been an essential part of design, bringing new perspectives and innovative approaches to visual communication.

Across disciplines, women continue to lead and inspire, shaping the industry with thoughtful and groundbreaking work. Anastasia’s posters reflect this—each piece is carefully considered, with a strong emphasis on structure, contrast, and message. The energy in her work demonstrates the depth of creativity that she brings to the field.

This exhibition is not just about one designer’s work, but about reinforcing the importance of visibility, representation, and celebration of women in creative industries. By showcasing diverse voices, we continue to enrich the design world and encourage new ways of thinking.

Visit the Exhibition

This exhibition is open to designers, educators, students, and anyone interested in the role of visual communication in our society. It is an opportunity to experience how design transforms everyday influences into something meaningful, while also recognising the role of women in shaping the industry’s future.
