I Heart Korea

I was thrilled to receive the wonderful invitation from the International Art & Design Association, titled Annyeong Korea! This is an invitation-only exhibition to be held at the Share Gallery Blue in South Korea on the 15th – 21st December 2022. 

 

I am honoured to have been invited and for my poster I wanted to represent popular culture in Korea and depict how a simple hand gesture is able to visually communicate a positive emotional response. The poster design comprises an original vector illustration and the layout is composed around the golden ratio. The colour palette is adapted from the traditional Korean colour spectrum and I hope this represents the beauty of Korean culture, at least from a Western perspective!
